This video is DOPE! I actually wasn’t expecting her to release Monday Morning as a single, but I am enjoying the video. LOVE IT!! My friend had been trying to convince me to listen to her for about a year now, and I kept putting it off, but I really do enjoy her. I hop you enjoy the video too (sans the script about her being in Switzerland) I mean, this girl has REAL talent!! If the media stopped stalking Rihanna’s fashion choices they’d be able to notice that. But hey, what do I know!
In honor of Fashion Friday today’s Time Top 10 List is for Fashion Faux Pas in 2009. Some of them you can’t really be surprised, like the #1 was an Olsen twin. Her outfit looked like an acid trip.

I’m sure Lady Gaga will make several of these lists over the season because while her outfits are definitely amusing & eye catching, they are definitely on the off side. But um, she has the Dora the Explorer hair cut. OMG my girl crush because of her FAB body Amber Rose made the cut w/ Kanye from the VMAs. You know, where she wore a skin tight jumpsuit in nude snakeskin?
I’m saying, while it may not have been the best material, her body looks AWESOME!!
And another highlight, Sharon Stone bringing up the rear @ number ten. Doesn’t she make at least one of these list every year?? I thought this was bedroom wear gone bad.
Never have I been an Ed Hardy fan. I mean, who was this brand I had never heard of, and why are people so gaga over it suddenly? And why the hell are there skulls on damn near everything? But yet they were so popular it’s a wine now?
And then I’m on Zappos browsing for some scarves and Ed Hardy has some pretty dope ones. Absoutely FAB scarves. Also Absolutely OVERpriced too! And that’s why I freaking LOVE Zappos! I mean, their customer service is the bomb! They are great. They always respond to @ replies on twitter. Even before twitter, when I had to call them, they were helpful. Absolutely adore Zappos and their low costs. And I am loving these scarves I found by Ed Hardy (for a significantly lower price!!)

They have soo many cute scarves and other accessories you must check them out. Not that I’m going to turn around and become an Ed Hardy fan, but he does have a lot of stuff I wasn’t familiar with. Those skulls just don’t do it for me though. And I’m just not sold on Ed Hardy shoes. The sneakers were cute for kids, but the heels? For women, no bueno!!
Who is Orla Kiely and why do I want her ‘Color Forest’ Printed Shoulder Bag? I LOVE the leather flap-tab closure. Well, I love it when all my crap isn’t falling out the purse.

I’d never been onto Tony birch before I saw this on Nordstrom’s online, but now I have my eye on him!
The other week I was browsing through Macy’s and saw these Guess Boot, Elize style. I thought they were so adorable! I liked the combination of leather and nylon. And the rubber platform. Then it hit me why I thought they were so cute (besides the 4inch wedge heel). The only thing doesn’t sell me is the logo on the side. I’m so not into being branded.
I have a pair of boots just like them! well, not exactly but pretty damn similar from last winter. And they are definitely my FAVORITE winter boots. Comfy & stylish. The JO boot by BCBGirls.
I got this boot last year during Black Friday weekend, and was in love! It wasn’t love at first sight though, more of the love you have to grow into because I wan’t sold on the mixed fabrics. They sold me because they were uber comfortable, definitely didn’t feel like 4 inches. AND they were warm inside & my calves fit comfortably inside. Love.
Now I’m torn, do I really NEED the Guess boots? HHMMM???
I hope everyone is safe out on the mean streets of Black Friday – the BIGGEST shopping day of the year. Retailers are getting smarter though, they realize people don’t want to be trampled, so after BF there will be Cyber Monday, so don’t hurt yourself rushing out to Wally World & getting trampled.

I don’t really remember her in anything before Drumline, and honestly, she didn’t register on my fashion radar then. but she stayed around. She was in the Terminal with Tom Hanks, Guess Who with Bernie Mac, Pirates of the Carribean w/ my boo Johnny Depp, Vantage Point, and (among other things) most recently Star Trek.She’s said that she’s sometimes mistaken for Thandie Netwon. Besides them both being thin, I don’t see the resemblence.
I think she is adorable, and of course I would since she’s a Jersey girl! She doesnt’ look a day over 25, can you believe she was born in ’78?

Shop for a Better World, is a partnership between Fair Winds Trading, Women of Rwanda and Macys. I know of them because a few years ago I bought y grandmother one of thier lovely hand-woven bowls for Christmas. These bowls are a lovely piece for a coffee table. I figured she would enjoy it since she has so much crap stuff on her coffee table. I purchased a Unity bowl for her, which is unfortunately not available on the Macy’s website. They do have some others that are still going to make some wonderful accent pieces in someone’s home. Pictured are the “True Unity”, “Thousand Hills”, and the “New Africa” bowls.

I got these pics last week, but I wanted to save them for Fashion Friday. Plus I wanted to pay homage to my new Nars Stylo, I freaking LOVE IT!! Using eyeliner has NEVER been easier. I don’t have the blue one yet (the one I wanted the most) but I have faith that I may eventually have it. (wink wink). In fact I adore all my Nars products. I love their packaging.
Francois Nars (who is very young) celebrated the launch of the 15×15 Project. There were some big names there that I don’t know who they were, so I didn’t gravitate towards their photos. But the ones I have are interesting.

Lately I’ve been obsessed with findng one. It’s a great way to make your comforters last, especially if its a white one. Think of a Duvet cover as a pilowcase for your comforter!
Get ready, get cozy, and get with it! Barbary Barry Duvet cover is sheek. I adore the colors, the pattern on the front and reverse. It’s soft, 100% cotton and it has piping along the edges. It also has hidden buttons so that your comforter stays out of view. I think the silver is a nice way to brighten up the bedroom since its not too loud or bright.
I’ve never heard of Cynthia Steffe, but I do love this dress! I swear I have a similar dress, but it doesn’t have quite the detailing as this one. I loved the ruched elastic belt with the metal closures. Mine doesn’t look as satiny and the exposed zippers are silver and not gold like this dress. I would probably wear it exactly how the model is wearing it.
I adore the a-line cut of the skirt. I love the oversized fold over collar. My heart is melting I tell you. This dress retails for $335, but once again if you know someone you might catch it for around $125.

Take this cropped BCBG Max Azria number. The green color is absolutely to die for! It has an exposed front zipper and front patch pockets. I am loving that you can see all the buttons and zippers. Gives it a definite rocker/biker look, LOL!
