I too am a hopeless romantic.. but lately I’ve been feeling very cynical about love. Carrie pre-book deal. Right before she meets Berger LOL.

It’s great to find someone who can deal with all sides of us complex women! lol. SATC is forever relevant haha

Totally agree. I loooove SATC and even though I didn’t relate much to Carrie at all, there are bits & pieces that put together make up my life. I’m a Charlotte who used to put up a Miranda front. My ex is definitely a Big, but I’m engaged to an Aidan/Richard who brings out the Samantha in me. In other words, I’ve come to terms with being a hopeless romantic. But I found a sweet, nice guy who can also play the alpha male, and doesn’t mind that I can go from domestic to diva depending on my mood. And the fact that the above would make sense to any hardcore SATC fan just shows you how relevant it was!

Wait…he saw you in the store and did NOT speak?! And then wondered why you did not consider him a “friend”?! (Where are these guys learning this *censored*?) Yeah, I suppose a lot of available men, especially Black men(and that is not me assuming he is Black, just stating), are struggling with the notion that many women do not just want to be another booty call. Ironically, there are enough women out there that do just want to have sex with no strings attached, but I suppose that would be too much like right for a man to go after the women that wish to treat them as they wish to be treated.
