Three’s a Crowd

***started on 1/23*** I'm in a threesome and I want out. It involved me, my Keurig and a French Press. Season 1. In this episode Carrie finds out that Big was married once, and that he had a threesome. Charlotte's boyfriend wants to have a threesome. Miranda feels left out because she's never been "threesome material", so she responds to a classified ad to validate her sexual appeal. Samantha becomes involved with a married man, and his wife offers to have a threesome to keep the marriage together, which Samantha declines. I love, LOVE, and love my Keurig, It really helped grow my passion and love for coffee. It helped me experience what coffee flavors  and roasts were truly about.  But as with any relationship, and to the chagrin of…

Where There’s Smoke

This post was started in February 2014 after a work presentation .. *********************** The old adage what do you want to be when you grow up is so outdated any truly reflective of the society we live in. In out parents (or grandparents) era you worked to get a job and for the most part you stayed at that job until, retirement. Easy. Breezy. Beautiful. And in some instances that still happens: cops, teachers, postal worker... But the reality is most if my generation is looking to be the next big thing in their respective industry. And with the globalization of the US, more schooling options, and increased access, you have the power to change your mind, develop new ideas and create your own careers. How does this philosophy get engrained…

Defining Moments …

This post was started back in April 2012. I've decided I'm getting rid of all my lingering drafts! SO therefore, I can't finish it because I have no idea what my thought process was back then .. but bear with me. Enjoy!! ******************************** I forget that I'm smart. I forget that I enjoy engaging in intellectual dialogue and the exchange of free thought because it is not a part of my daily life. You would think that it would be, being that I am *hopefully* in the last year of my Masters degree and that I work at a college. But the fact is, not everyone enjoys a good back and forth exchange as much as the next. Also, when in class, those old feeling of "self doubt" and "don't…

DIY GOODNESS : NAIL POLISH RACK

The past few weeks I'd been wanting to buy a stand or some sort of org anizer for my polish .. being sick of them tossed in a tupperware container haphazardly. It was frustrating trying to remember and keep up with all the polishes I had. I had seen blogs where people used acrylic shoe storage containers and thought, "wow, what a good idea" but something about it wasn't for me. Then at the nail salon, I saw one of those cool rotating stands and was like yeah... I want that.. Too bad online they cost like $70 .. so I decided let me try to make on myself. Being a student of Google College at YouTube University, I quickly put my search skills to use. The first video I came across…

Bag Lady, you gone hurt yo back!

So .. I 've always had an affinity for crossbody bags. I LOVE them. But then they were hard to find for awhile, or at least nice ones in my price range. but my love has rekindled after the purchase of my Lauren cross body bag this summer.  I love the bag I had for the summer, the Lauren by Ralph Lauren Java Bag (picture). I like this bag because it contours with your body. I remember seeing my coworker with it (in a diffrent print) and being in AWE, like OMG where did you get it! I stalked this bag. It was regularly priced at $248. I paid $78 when I purchased just by waiting a few weeks and stalking the Bloomingdales website. Then free shipping to my house? Say…

Cheat-ah Nails

I'm completely obsessed with nail polish and designs these days. Especially ones I might be able to create myself. So, I read a tutorial on http://diynails.tumblr.com on how to do Cheetah Nails .. And decided to try it ..since I'm overly harsh I think my attempt sucked but I have to relax it was my first time and after doing further research, I needed a dipping tool (or toothpick) to make the spots .. I used a Qtip lol.. You live and you learn! Check them out! I think next time I'm going with a lighter base coat, like tan, with pink cheetah dots and the black outline. For me the green spots are too close in color to the black .. And I was rushing so it smeared. :(…

CleoSunshine, M.A !!!!!

Who's going to be a New York University Alumni ?? That's right ME! In case you don't know me well enough to know that I have a real job/career. You know, one that pays the excessive bills I have every month, and its at a college/university. I actually enjoy what I do and find it to be satisfying and would love to spend my life in this field, just not in the current job I have. So, I'm attending the New York University, Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development. I will be looking to receive a M.A in Higher Education/Student Personnel Administration (or as my lovely coworker calls it, my Nursing Degree) I am so excited because I've been wanting to go back for a Master's Degree for…

The hills are alive . . .

"Doe, a deer. A female Deer" [caption id="attachment_1990" align="aligncenter" width="538" caption="Image from TheDailyMail.co.uk"][/caption] Last night I had the opportunity to see * drumroll please* The Sound of Music for the FIRST time. Ever in life. The lovely ladies @KittyBradshaw, @Divasanddorks & @OsoChic and I settled in for an Anniversary showing @ the IMAX Theater on 34th street with free popcorn *yay*  ( FYI: Me & D&D popped our Sound of Music cherries together! ) We saw people dressed as Nuns and people were singing along (it was like Karaoke) and reciting the lines before they came out the mouths, and I loved every minute of it! I can see why this movie is one of the most popular musicals of all time, the songs are simplistically divine.   I knew songs…

Blackberry Files 2.1

Yet another post lost in the sauce of a Blackberry memo ... they all come to light eventually. This one is a few weeks old... 1. Reggie Bush. I tweeted "I feel bad for Reggie Bush .. I blame Kim Kardashian .. He shoulda stayed under the radar instead of dating a fame whore #imjustsaying lol" I think a lot of this is similar to the Vick case.. He didn't know. If he did accept gifts and other monetary things while attending USC, I think he really didn't know. Doesn't excuse him, because I'm sure he had to sign on somebodies dotted line, but apparently no one reads the fine print anyways.. 2. Twitter is why I don't blog so much anymore. No longer do I need to log-in to…

Quotables 6.12.10

If you buy the shoes, the fun will come I said this to my friend as we discount shoe shopped today. She was looking at a pair of shoes and said something of the sort, these are so cute and fun but I have no where to wear them to... I told Dubb my quote and she likes & believes in it. It's true. You ever have a pair of shoes you HAVE to find the perfect place to go out and wear them? You search for any reason to wear them. OH no, thats just me .. ooops

Fashion Friday: 5.21.10 : birthday edition

Today is my birthday .. so these are things on my birthday wish  list. In an ideal world,  I'd be rocking this stuff and not wishing about it. P!NK covered the cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine rocking this HOT dress. Of course when I saw it, I twitpic'd it and someone, I wanna say @Bleakey told me it was a Gucci dress. So I searched for the Spring & Summer Gucci collections and found the dress: I think I've previously blogged those Gucci shoes , but I think P!NK rocked the dress better than the model, the model gives this dress no shape. I want this dress. I love the edginess of it.

The Woman, The Gimmick, no Legend. . . .

Good day folks. I am the Man in the Moon (no relation). I will be a part-time contributor to Cleo’s cause of bringing sunshine to your everyday. She’s shining some of her light on me, so that I may shine some light on you. . . .cause isn’t that how the moon works anyway? My first post will be about one of my favorite topics: Hip-hop. I love music, but hip-hop speaks to my soul. It’s in my heart. I love H.E.R. She lives in my lap. . . That’s why I get upset when I see talent wasted. Not everyone can rap. It’s a combination being able to say the right thing, the right way, at the right time, to the right rhythm. . . .to the left, to…

Something New . . .

I like to get all my fashion and celebrity news in one spot. And when I'm not spending time on Dlisted laughing at people's fashion choices.. I'm searching for a good site that can combine the two for me without being too blah. What do I then discover? Stylecaster. This is important to me, because I don't have as much time to get all my news links on Twitter (it really is like that sometimes..) so I need to quickly peruse while I'm at work and some sites are now blocked from my job ( :( ) .  My guilty pleasure is Celebrity news and fashion. I enjoy my serious news and world news but sometimes you just need strict entertainment. Stylecaster has celebrity  news (like all the cute Academy…
