Fashion Friday: Pour La Victorie

Who doesn't love a 4 inch heel that feels like its 3 inches?? I introduce you to the Pour La Victorie Adriane boot. What I love about it: Hidden 1-inch platform 4 inch heel Zippers I love the "thicker" heel. Traditional stilettos aren't for me, these are perfect. They have such edge to them. I just want to wear them every day. They cost $319 and can be found at a Nordstrom near you. I will admire from afar. But damn they'd look good on me.

Fashion Friday: A case of Deja Shoe??

Deja Shoe! When I saw these Rampage "Brittany' boots, I immediately liked them, because they resembled these Jessica Simpson Yana boots from last winter that I had my eye on. I tried them on Nordstroms .. and Lord & Taylor but the calf was just a little tighter than I would have liked. I mean, seriously, look at the similarities of these boots -both have side zippers -both have a closure asthetic feature on the back of the opening. (which I absolutely LOVE) -both have a slouch feature. Jessica Simpson's boot is slightly higher (which is A-OK to me) and fits slightly closer to the knee. Fashion Friday: BOOTS!

On this weeks edition of Fashion Friday I have some boots for you guys. Not too many but just enough to tease you as we go into fall. Let's start off with these Guess Buster boots (the name amuses me). I love these boots, I've never been really big on Guess shoes. I may just have a thing for brown suede, but either way they are nice to me. They also come in black, but black can be a little BORING! And last but not least on our Fashion Friday roll call we have this Hot hot hot, FIERCE, SEXY trench coat. Viktor & Rolf Ignore the weird painted WHITE (we're not even going to go into that here, today. but I was all up in arms about the subliminal messages all up and through there) face of the model in the runway show and focus on the sexy ness of that trench. I haven't bought a new purse, a good NEW purse, in some time. A long long time. I found this bag, and even though it violates the budget theme of this week's Fashion Friday but its so damn cute! It's a leather shoulder bag that can be found at a Macy's near you. Furla Elisabeth Lissata This bag has gold tone hardware, a cellphone pocket, magnetic snap closure and it has a 10-inch drop. If your like me you need a bag that doubles as a bottomless pit. I also like the contrasting stitch. The only other color available on Macy's was blue. I had to share my latest purchase. And I k now I don't need brown boots because I need some new black boots, but these boots looked so much better in the brown, so I had to go with that. So I had heard about the DSquared fashion show where the models took off their shoes because the heels were ridiculously high and I laughed because I thought of how on America's Next Top Model Tyra Banks is always talking about the walk and gives the girls the craziest walking contest. Remember back when Tim Allen had that show Home Improvement and his show inside the show was called "Tool Time?" And Al was his co-star. I never watch Home Improvement on Nick @ Nite because I'm upset they don't show A Different World but I do sometimes watch Family Matters... and maybe Roseanne.
