So, anyone who knows me knows that my two favorite things are sales .. and even bigger sales. I believe that anything is worth buying on sale and if you really want something you should try to find it for cheap. Only true emergencies call for full price purchases… Does this make me cheap or fiscally responsible? I’m still working that one out.
If you were to ever meet me (for those who haven’t) and perhaps tell me that “Oh, those shoes are cute!!” I might respond, “Yeess!! and I got them on sale @ _____ store” It’s a bad habit. I can’t help it and it won’t stop soon. What that also means is that I spend plenty of time hitting the pavement (aka the internets) searching for good deals. LoW and Behold! These hot promotional codes I found on Savings.com for Shoes.com . HEAVEN! Shoes.com had these BOMB Guess boots I’d been eying for awhile, the Guess Buster boot… AND several other boots I find myself pining over. I know its March and boot season is almost over, but I’m just so over my BCBGirls boots. I feel like I’ve over-worn them and need to move on AND now is the BEST time to buy boots. Out of season sales are THE best!
I was hoping they’d have the Nine West Ivonnie boot I tried on at Macy’s this weekend, but no such luck. Either way, these free coupons rock. I didn’t have to sign up for anything or even provide any information. I just clicked and BOMM coupons galore! Me + Sales and Discounts = perfect match. I kid you not. What I like more than sales? FREE … but no cute shoes ever came to me for free only ones from my grandmother.
This site is coming in handy for me since I have not one but TWO baby showers to go to next weekend. I need some Babies R’ Us coupons like YESTERDAY!! How dare my friends do this to me. Horrible. But Savings.com makes it easy to search for all the different stores, and they even had a printable coupon I could take to the store. Love it.

This post was brought to you by your friends at Savings.com

I’ve had these pics for a little over a week, but I just was so busy! I am sharing them now!
Look @ little Dakota Fanning! I can’t believe she is so old now! I was shocked when I saw her in the New Moon (Twilight Trilogy) movie! And even in Secret Life of Bee’s I couldn’t believe how tall and dangly she’d gotten. But these pics, for Italian Vogue, she is so big! Big as in grown up. I feel so old when I watch people grow up. I’m sure people feel the same way when they see me. You hear it all the time “Yeah, I remember when you were yay high” LOL?

Idk what is up with these Lourdes eyebrows, but I guess that’s Italian fashion.. She doesn’t even look like the cute little girl from Man on Fire in some of these pics.. but that is hollywood life for you!!

Very Penny Lane
And these shoes: HOT HOT HOT!!!!

Who can read Italian to say what brand those are? They are bomb.com and then some! Need more info!

SO, apparently a girl really can have her glass slipper. It’s just going to cost her 7,500 dollars!!!!!!!

Pasquale Fabrizio, who is this UBER talented “shoe cobbler to the stars” has designed these glass slippers. I have never heard of Pasquale, probably since I’m not a star, but according to laweekly.com
He once built a three-legged monster costume for two 300-pound wrestlers. He fashioned a steel brace for the shared third leg, so that one wrestler standing inside the suit wouldn’t crush the other’s foot. He built up the calves of Angelina Jolie’s Jimmy Choo boots in Mr. & Mrs. Smith to make them thigh-high, and he swapped out the heels — 80 pairs at a time — so she could run around comfortably during stunts. He duplicated Muhammad Ali’s Everlasts — down to the tassels — for Will Smith, then, as Smith wore out their rubber soles from hours of practice in the ring, he resoled them. When Frank Darabont, the director of The Green Mile, needed the squeak removed from a pair of boots, Fabrizio came through … and did so again when Darabont changed his mind and wanted the squeak returned. One regular customer even implored Fabrizio to fix a Jacuzzi cover. The dog had chewed it.
WTH is Murano glass you ask (because I did) its some super secret Italian way of making glass!! According to wiki, most Murano glass art is made using the lampworking technique. The glass is made from silica which becomes liquid at high temperatures. As the glass passes from a liquid to a solid state, there is an interval when the glass is soft before it hardens completely. This is when the glass-master can shape the material.
I’m not a 100% fan of the shoe, because I don’t like the thin strap across the front, but that heel design is TTIIGGGHTTT and I love the gold beads and ankle strap. BOMB!! Not that I have 7,500 to be spending on them anyway!

In the back of my closet there is (and don’t judge me) a pair of Lucite heels .. they didn’t cost nearly as much as this Fendi pair of heels, so imagine my shock when I saw stripper shoes could be so damn expensive.

These Fendi Khaki colored wrap / platform sandals are making my heart melt. that 2 inch platform takes some practice to walk on, its not for the weak. Trust me! And the heel, is listed at six inches. UM.. WHAT?? Nina Garcia says you shouldn’t go over 4. I break that rule often, but SIX?? I’ll eye from afar.
The FF logo is on the lucite platorm, and they will cost you $1553. Wow.

I am still on the fence about these Caged Boots I’ve been seeing all around. Something is just off about them, I guess its the whole . . . shell thing?? But the shape and height of these boots is making me drool. I think I kinda love them! You know I’m a SUCKER for the platform.
Christian Louboutin Coussin. Retail : out of my price range. HOT NESS: 4 Stars Height: 14 cm (i don’t convert, sorry!).

The other week I was browsing through Macy’s and saw these Guess Boot, Elize style. I thought they were so adorable! I liked the combination of leather and nylon. And the rubber platform. Then it hit me why I thought they were so cute (besides the 4inch wedge heel). The only thing doesn’t sell me is the logo on the side. I’m so not into being branded.

I have a pair of boots just like them! well, not exactly but pretty damn similar from last winter. And they are definitely my FAVORITE winter boots. Comfy & stylish. The JO boot by BCBGirls.

I got this boot last year during Black Friday weekend, and was in love! It wasn’t love at first sight though, more of the love you have to grow into because I wan’t sold on the mixed fabrics. They sold me because they were uber comfortable, definitely didn’t feel like 4 inches. AND they were warm inside & my calves fit comfortably inside. Love.
Now I’m torn, do I really NEED the Guess boots? HHMMM???

I really adore Beyonce, its sad that her music is going so far adrift from where my musical preference is going, but I still think she is a force. Check out these pics of her at Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece. She looks fabulous! I hope marriage makes me look as good!
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t waiting to see what kind of video is going to emerge for Video Phone with Lady GaGa. I’m hoping its better than the Ego video, that one let me down!

I <3 these bangs! And look how tan she looks!

HAUTE!!
And because no one is without fault. Those shoes do NOT work for me with that dress! I’ve learned to always expect that one no-no from Tina Knowles..

I have never even heard of this person, but this ad made me want to know more. The power of ads is intense.
Jason Campbell is apparently a hot, new (or not so new its been like 9 years) Shoe God on the scene who doesn’t cost 6 months rent. Peep his websites intro! I don’t even like autoplay music, but it intrigued me.
Dope Right?

Maybe I’m just not sophisticated enough for high fashion, but what is the appeal on this shoe? Like seriously? It can’t be comfortable!
I love the blue color, I love the detailing at the top. But the heel and the platform are killing me. First off, they are 2 distinct textiles. What the hell is that, a metal pipe anyway?? I’m so over the heel. And that sucks because I enjoy when heels are different, i.e D2squared ’s lightning bolt heel, or even when Madonna wore the shoes with the gun as the heel. These, I’m not feeling. Thoughts?? OH, and they cost hella lotta money since they are Jil Sander and I saw them on Global14.com with all the other “high fashion” shoes!

Is there a such thing as too much of a good thing?
I realized today I love fall, simply because I love all the different boots! I love leather and I love suede. I enjoy nubuck and canvas. I want knee high boots, but settle for calve length. I just love boots!

These boots are cute, they are called Cashmere! They are a combination of leather and sweater material. The only draw back is that I like a sturdier heel than the stiletto. I prefer the heel to be a little more stacked, but everything else is great! The heel is a fantastic 4 1/2 inches and the toe is squared off. I also love the buckles over the sweater material.
These can be found at Bakers for 99.95. Affordable and cute makes them so much better!

Rain Boots (Wellingtons, in case you missed it last year). I was addicted to these things, so obsessed with having a pair. It was mission to find some. Apparently this year, I haven’t outgrown that love for them.

These are cute black &white Pixy boots from Coach. I lusted after a pair of Coach rain boots last year when I had some extra cash, since everyone knows Macy’s almost NEVER has Coach on sale. I tried them on, and of course, my calves were too big. Yes they fit, but there was no room for jeans or anything underneath. And of course, if its raining you want your jeans tucked into your boots. I eventually got a pair of stripped boots from Target (Don’t deny Target is the GREATEST store EVER!!). These would go great in my life. You can find these on www.Coach.com for $108 if you’d like, or you can find your local Coach/Macy’s to purchase.

I have heard nothing but wonderful things about Top Shop. It’s a bit of a sensation I’d say, and these boots are definitely sensational!I’ll probably only be able to get a pair if I get them specially made since I have HUGE calves. This boot is called the Britany2, and its an over the kneee boot that has a tight fit.
Details? Nubuck (suede like material for those who don’t know)4.5 inch heael (YYEEESSS!!) and approx 1inch platform (even better!!). Absolutely Fabulous for the season!

Even though we’ve never been formally acquainted, Christian Louboutin is my future boo. These are the Nitoinimoi (how the hell do you say that???) boots. When I see that word, I pronounce it HOT! These bandange boots are like a Herve Leger dress for your feet. They are fierce (if Tyra will let me borrow the word).

Leather: check
1 Inch platform: check
Just roll me over, because I love them. What do you think?

Never featured Brian Atwood before, and these boots are a perfect way to start.

These Brian Atwood Slouchy Hidden Platform bootshave so many dope features its not even funny. From the leather side ties, to the 5 1/2 inch heels to the 19 inch shaft. They also have a padded insole to take some of that pressure off your feet while strutting in them.
However, they cost $1,170. Not really up my ally, but FAB none the less.
